Make sure you know where your tango shoes are really made

** There have been various brands lately advertising that their tango shoes are made in Italy. Clearly, who wouldn't want to wear Italian shoes - they are the best in the world! However, make sure your shoes are indeed made in Italy because some brands design in Italy and have the shoes made elsewhere to reduce the costs while advertising the product as "Italian shoes". Please note that for all legal import US Customs requires a Certificate of Origin, so if your shoes are really made in Italy, it will be stated on each pair (each shoe, actually), like in the example on the picture below. So don't let yourselves be fooled by paying top dollar for shoes of ambiguous origin no matter what the advertisement says. **
